New Series of Public Service Announcements Encourages Military Community Members to Access 24/7 Veteran-Led Peer Support
In recognition of Suicide Prevention Month, Vets4Warriors®, the nation’s leading 24/7 military peer support program staffed entirely by Veterans and military family members, is kicking off a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in veteran-populated markets across the country. The campaign’s clear call to action is for members of the military community—service members, Veterans, and their families—to reach out for free, confidential, stigma-free peer support available around the clock.
Thanks to a $1 million in-kind donation of advertising airtime from Comcast, Vets4Warriors will run a variety of targeted PSAs over the next year across Comcast’s nationwide platforms. While the current series centers on Suicide Prevention Month, the airtime will support multiple messages throughout 2026 and beyond that highlight the power of connection and encourage early outreach before challenges escalate into crisis.
The new campaign builds on Vets4Warriors’ ongoing national PSA efforts, which began with donated airtime in late 2023. These messages continue to destigmatize mental health challenges and reinforce that help is always available from someone who has walked in their shoes.

As part of its broader suicide prevention efforts, Vets4Warriors has also partnered with Worried About a Veteran (WAV) on the Key into Care campaign. Both organizations are members of USAA’s Face the Fight coalition which aims to significantly lower the rate of veteran suicide. Together, they have given away hundreds of free key lockboxes designed to help Veterans and their loved ones create safer firearm storage practices and more time and space to reach out for support.
