A Vietnam Veteran’s Story – Navigating the VA

A Vietnam Veteran called Vets4Warriors as he needed assistance obtaining his medical records so he could get dental treatment for an injury caused by his service. The veteran had been trying for several months to get his records but was unsure of how to request them. The peer provided directions and assisted the Veteran in submitting his request via  EVetRecs national archive. The Veteran also reported having issues with the VA and his VSO in his local area for the past several months. The Veteran reported feeling much better after each interaction with the peer and has been thankful for allowing him to vent about the issues the VA is causing him.
