Fatima Aguilar

Program Development Specialist
Second Lieutenant, Army National Guard

Fatima Aguilar was born in Manila, Philippines and moved to New Jersey at the age of 6. Upon obtaining her high school diploma in 2004, Fatima enlisted with the United States Army and was assigned as a Power Generation Equipment Mechanic with the 25th Light Infantry Division in Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. Fatima took a hiatus in service and received her bachelor’s degree in business management in 2012. She reenlisted into the New Jersey Army National Guard in 2015 and is still currently serving today.

In May 2014, Fatima began her employment at Vets4Warriors as a Peer Support Specialist on the overnight shifts. Fatima transitioned her role as the Program Development Specialist in March 2017, to establish and maintain liaisons with various public and private institutions, agencies, and organizations. She analyzes and implements programs and strategies for long-term cultivation and stewardship of development prospects. In her free time, Fatima ventures outdoors on hiking trails and beaches, and expresses her passion in the medical field as an ultrasound technologist.
