Thank you for an incredible 2025! Together, we’ve made a real difference in the lives of service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers through confidential, 24/7 peer support.

Through the past year, Vets4Warriors® expanded its impact and deepened its reach through powerful milestones, meaningful media features, and strategic partnerships.

2025 Impact at a Glance

  • 1 MILLION CONNECTIONS: We hit this historic milestone the week of Veterans Day – over one million connections made to date, each one with a veteran peer who truly understands.
  • New Connections: Averaged 26 new unique individuals per day (over 765 per month) connecting with us for the first time.
  • Weekly Volume: Orchestrated more than 1,700 connections on average each week.
  • Rapid Response: Answered calls in under 30 seconds.
  • Ongoing Support: Routinely providing ongoing support to more than 2,200 individuals.
  • Ambassador Growth: Now in its third year, our Ambassador Program continues to expand with dedicated volunteers in 30 states spreading awareness across bases, in communities, and online.

These numbers reflect lives touched, hope restored, and stigma reduced—thanks to our peer specialists, ambassadors, and everyone who trusted us with their story.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our partners and donors, including USAA/Face the Fight, Wounded Warrior Project, Bob Woodruff Foundation, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Disabled American Veterans, CVS Health, The Tepper Foundation, the RLD Foundation and more, who have been instrumental in advancing our mission this year.

We’re especially grateful for Comcast/NBCUniversal’s donated airtime, which powered our national PSA to reach more service members, veterans, and families—reminding them help is always a call or chat away.

We were honored to receive continued funding, including a second-year grant from Face the Fight (supported by USAA and partners) to advance suicide prevention, and selection as a Wounded Warrior Project Community Partnership Grant recipient.

Media Spotlight

Our 1 million connections milestone was celebrated in coverage by VA News, Rutgers University, nj.com, and NJ Spotlight News—plus our own announcement shared widely by partners on social media. This recognition highlights the growing acceptance of peer support and the continued decline in mental health stigma.

Our work and mission gained wider attention through key media features and conversations throughout the year:

Thanks to the American Legion, I appeared on their Tango Alpha Lima podcast ahead of Suicide Prevention Month to discuss veteran suicide prevention (episode here). Marketing and Communications Coordinator Joshua Zabler, a former Marine Corps sergeant, was featured on PrizeVet’s Prize podcast (“Mastering the Military Transition” series), sharing his deployments, post-service challenges, psychology studies, and nearly seven years with Vets4Warriors. Finally, Program Development Specialist Fatima Aguilar, who also serves in the Army National Guard, discussed mental health support for military personnel and families onOne-on-One with Steve Adubato.

Looking Ahead to 2026

We’re energized for what’s next, including an exciting new initiative delivering free at-home fitness packages to strengthen bodies and minds—because physical and mental health are deeply connected. Stay tuned!

As we close out this remarkable year, I want to share a personal reflection: This work has always been about turning pain into purpose—ensuring no service member, veteran, or family member ever feels truly alone in their struggles. Your support has helped to honor that promise and reach more lives than ever before. Thank you for standing with us. We humbly appreciate the trust and confidence you have in our team.

Together, we keep the conversation going, reduce the stigma, and remind everyone: You are not alone, and help is always here—24/7.
